Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually blend the flour mixture into the butter mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the center.
- Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy warm or store in an airtight container!
